Selected collaborations
Taein Song’s independent practice extends into collaborations with heritage houses and contemporary brands. Across leather, glass and ceramics, she creates bespoke paintings, personalisations and artist editions, bringing her visual language to objects with histories of their own.
Early studies explored the colours, scale and movement of blossoms around Guerlain’s Bee Bottle. Moving between loose floral sketches and more considered compositions, Taein developed a scene that would retain the lightness of a passing spring moment. These pages offer a glimpse of the decisions behind the final hand-painted work.

Guerlain - Cherry Blossom 2025
For Guerlain’s Cherry Blossom 2025, Taein Song painted the Maison’s iconic Bee Bottle with an interpretation of hanami, the Japanese tradition of admiring blossoms. White, pale pink and soft green come together in a composition that celebrates the brief beauty of spring and the joy of being present.
